FAQ:
The main difference is in the appearance/aesthetics.
The acoustic violin is made of a hollow structure, it's a "regular" violin.
The electric violin is made of a solid body. This means that the electric needs to be connected to an amplifier in order to be heard.
However, both violins can be amplified.
Do Prices Fluctuate?
Seasonal minimums, and other contributing factors can affect the exact price.

Amplification & Gear FAQ:
Amplification is required for the Violin + DJ Tracks service, as well as Accompaniment for DJs.
A small PA system can be provided for a fee.
Intended for groups up to 150 - can be used outdoors & wirelessly.
The instrument can also be plugged in wirelessly, so the musician can roam around.
(For larger venues.)
A microphone & stand can be provided for a fee. (For ceremony, reception... etc.)
Wireless microphone is available for an extra fee. (For larger venues.)
Yes! I will gladly learn any song requests, given 30 days notice before the wedding/event.
A full repertoire list (600+ songs) will be provided with all quote requests.
Do You Need To Attend the Rehearsal? (Weddings)
It is not necessary to attend the rehearsal - Ellen will arrive early enough to coordinate any logistics & cues with the points-of-contact.
(If attending the rehearsal is required, rates above will apply.)
Can Demo Recordings Be Provided In Advance?
Demo recordings of particular songs/requests can be provided, for $25 each.
